Here is a 4"H amber glass toothpick holder in the design of a cat or kitten on a pillow lifting a sculpted toothpick holder. Original design from late 1800s, made by Richards and Hartley Glass of Tarentum PA

Thanks for your super praise for this antique toothpick design Phil, it's very cute that someone thought of having a kitty holding up the cup (sorta like Atlas holding up the world lol). And I too love the amber glass, it's a very intense color & the sculpted design really enhances it

vintagelamp thanks for your great comment & your state Pennsylvania has had some fabulous glassmakers including this one, Westmoreland etc. I think it has something to do with the rivers right
