Antique Mirror Frame

Also pulled this from the left behind items at my older sister's house. I took the glass out because it was broken in several pieces and beyond repair. Not sure of the age, but I know it looks very old. It's dark wood. The back is in 2 pieces. A single, very old piece of wire is on the back for hanging. The silver on the back of the mirror was powdery and looked more like a thick dust.

I really cannot say much more about this piece. I have more pictures I could upload and/or email for better identification if anyone out there is a bit more an expert in antique mirrors. I would like to sell this for what it would be worth, but first need to gather information; hence why I'm asking if anyone has more info. I have intention of restoring this frame or replacing the glass as I don't know what I'm doing and will surely destroy any value it holds as it is.
