I acquired this lovely pendant/brooch in a bag of old costume jewellery I bought in a charity shop for £2. The turquoise? set in the centre is a stone and not plastic, and I think it is goldtone as there is a very tiny scratch to the back of the brooch which reveals silver. I have no idea how old it is or who made it but it is stamped with H574 and underneath that I can make out the last four letters of what I presume is a makers mark/stamp. 'ARCS'
The first letter I can't make out at all. I would be really grateful if anyone could give me any insight into it!

really nice piece!! Unlike anything I've seen. I've seen spider turqoise before, a lot of it comes from Tibet. As for that style, no idea. Looks european. Its ornate design kinda makes me think it would have been an antique reproduction from an even earlier period, I wish I had more insight as to what period though!
