I found this piece at an Estate Sale. I found it tucked away on a bookshelf, and I guess to most people it looked like just a rock or didn't see it at all. Because I did not find this petrified item, I do not know of its origin. It appears to be a Large tooth (molar). I am out of my league on this one, so any and all help will be appreciated. I will be posting another that appears to be a portion of a rib cage.
I am going to need to take this somewhere :)
yes, i think it's a mastodon tooth.
No Palaeontologists out there?
