Army Pilots and support group Western China 1944 maybe?

Large groups my Dad had in his box from wars, these have not writings. But someone here told me last year these are from WWII in China,.
He was flying over the Hump very early the first ones doing this early 1944. huge Himalayas Mountains without oxygen, from north India to Western China,in support of the historic Flying Tigers many died, the planes were too small and the mountains were too tall, This is where he got the Distinguished Flying Cross.
